AIMS & OBJECTS

The aims & object for which society is being registered are as under: -

To create a database for all the alumnus of the Hotel management institute Lucknow & to enable their frequent interaction within each other & with other associations related to the hospitality industry for general growth & development of the individual as well as industry.
To hold conference, seminars, organize & promote exhibitions, shows & other activities in order to create a platform & congenial atmosphere for the effective communication between the members the society & professional form the hospitality & related industry.
To aid or establish, takeover, or collaborate any institution, college, association or laboratories for enabling the interaction & communication with the professionals from the hospitality industry & providing an opportunity to carry out study, research & training facility in the area related to hospitality industry to ensure a growth of the industry as well as techniques related to it.
To created congenial atmosphere for the prosperity of those engaged in the activities hospitality industry & to raise their professional status.
To undertake the creation, uploading & maintenance of the website of the institute & compiling, printing or publication of any book, booklet, pamphlet, directory, catalogue, chart, statistics, magazine or journal for the instruction guidance or education of people of all ages, generally on subjects related to development & upliftment of hospitality industry & to enable various professional from the industry to share their idea.
To create a fund in order to arrange and/or provide such social, moral or financial assistance necessary for any member of the society for the furtherance of the objects of the society.
To grant scholarship to any need student related to the field of hospitality industry.
To award prizes & awards in competition of games related to education & development of hospitality industry and to acknowledge the efforts of any individual, association or institution in any of the above mentioned areas.
To arrange tours or provide conveyance to any person to and fro any such places which may enlighten & defuse knowledge about the hospitality industry.
To establish & maintain library, reading room, museums, for the use of people for educating themselves in the disciplines related to hospitality industry.
To given stipend, allowances & gratuity, recurring or otherwise for the administration, maintenance etc for such time & duration as may deemed necessary & proper for the furtherance of the objects of the society.
To support and /or oppose & to tale every action including legal recourse to represent, defend, oppose any such move, legislation or other concerned measure, imposition or enactment for the upliftment & development of the industry as well as it's professionals.
To render help, arrange, encourage or promote celebrations of national, cultural, social & such other festivals, seminars & meetings as may be conducive to the attainment of the objects of the society.
To render any social, moral or financial assistance for the welfare & betterment of life of any section of the public or an individual or any victim of any natural calamity or propagate for the removal of social evils & to provide relief measures in case of war, earthquake, flood, epidemic etc.
To do any other act or thing which is ancillary to the achievement of any of the above stated objects.

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

The membership of the alumni is open for -

1. Student who have completed Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Lucknow.

2. Faculty/Staff members of Institute of Hotel Management, Lucknow.

3. Any one interested in the activities of Alumni Association of Institute of Hotel Management, Lucknow is eligible for Donor membership.
